Terms of Service

Last updated: 15 May 2026 · Effective: 15 May 2026

Plain-English summary. Guild Pro Bot is a free Discord bot run by Operator* as a non-commercial hobby project. Use it however you like within Discord's own rules; don't abuse it. Donations on Ko-fi are voluntary gifts and don't unlock anything. We may update these Terms — material changes will be announced 14 days ahead. Austrian law applies.

1. Parties and acceptance

These Terms form a binding agreement between you ("you", "the User") and Operator*, a private individual based in Austria, operating the Discord bot Guild Pro Bot and the associated dashboard at guildprobot.com (collectively, the "Service") as a non-commercial hobby project ("we", "us", "the Provider"). No commercial trade (Gewerbe) is registered for this Service.

By inviting the Bot to a Discord server, by using its commands, or by signing in to the dashboard, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Guild Pro Bot is a Discord-based guild-management toolkit for strategy games, including (without limitation):

  • Player-to-Discord account binding and verification;
  • Activity tracking and stats display;
  • Migration application management;
  • A web dashboard for guild configuration.

The Service is offered free of charge. Features and limits may evolve over time without prior notice; we will announce breaking changes in the support Discord at least 14 days ahead where reasonably possible.

3. Eligibility and accounts

  1. You must be at least the minimum age required by Discord's own Terms (typically 13, or higher in some jurisdictions). Users under 16 need parental consent (Art. 8 GDPR).
  2. You authenticate through Discord. There is no separate password — anyone with access to your Discord account can act on your behalf within the Service.
  3. You are responsible for keeping your Discord account secure and for the actions of server administrators you appoint.
  4. If you act on behalf of a Discord server (as administrator), you confirm you have authority to bind that server to these Terms.

4. Bot permissions

When you invite the Bot to your Discord server, you grant it the permissions selected during the invite flow. Server administrators are responsible for configuring permissions appropriately and for instructing members of the server about the data the Bot processes (see Privacy Policy §2).

5. Voluntary donations

We accept purely voluntary donations via the third-party platform Ko-fi (ko-fi.com/codguildpro). Donations help cover hosting and maintenance but are not a payment for the Service:

  • Donating does not unlock features, raise priority of support, grant additional commands, or create any service obligation on our part.
  • The Service remains identical for donors and non-donors.
  • Donations are gratuitous gifts (Schenkungen) under §938 ABGB, not consideration for a service. No invoice is issued; Ko-fi handles the transaction end-to-end.
  • Refunds for donations are governed solely by Ko-fi's own policy. We have no ability to refund a donation directly.
  • Because donations are gratuitous and the donor receives nothing in return, the EU 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts (FAGG §11) does not apply, but you remain free to ask Ko-fi for a refund under their terms.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service in violation of Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines, or the respective game's own terms.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source of any non-public part of the Service.
  • Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to invoke commands or the dashboard API beyond ordinary human use.
  • Submit fraudulent verification screenshots, impersonate other players, or attempt to bind in-game accounts that are not yours.
  • Use the Service to harass other players, organise harassment, dox, or distribute illegal content.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' data, the bot infrastructure, or our hosting accounts.

We reserve the right to investigate suspected breaches and to cooperate with law enforcement where legally required.

7. Intellectual property

The Service (interface, code, branding) is © 2026 Operator*. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use it for the purpose for which it is provided.

Your data. Data you submit (in-game stats, screenshots, configuration) remains yours; we process it only as described in the Privacy Policy.

Game IP. Call of Dragons, Rise of Kingdoms, Whiteout Survival, and Infinity Kingdom are trademarks of their respective owners. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any game publisher. References to games are nominative use only.

8. Availability and maintenance

We aim for reasonable availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance windows are announced in the support Discord where possible. Unplanned outages may occur (Discord API issues, hosting incidents, game-data format changes, etc.). For free-tier users, extended downtime carries no compensation right; we may, at our discretion, send a thank-you message to donors who were affected.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access (Discord-side or dashboard-side) without prior notice if you breach these Terms or abuse the Service. On termination, related access stops immediately. Server administrators may remove the Bot from their guild at any time; on removal, per-guild data is deleted within 30 days as described in the Privacy Policy §3.

You may stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, email [email protected] from the email tied to your account, or DM the support Discord from the Discord account in question.

10. Warranties and liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", free of charge. To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of game-stats parsing, and non-infringement.

For consumers (natural persons acting outside their trade or profession) the mandatory liability rules of Austrian law (KSchG, ABGB) apply unchanged. Otherwise: we are liable only for damage caused by intent or gross negligence; for slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential contractual duties (Kardinalpflichten) and only up to typically foreseeable damage. We exclude liability for lost profit, missed alliance ranking, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from inability to use the Service.

11. Force majeure

Neither party is liable for failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including outages of Discord, our hosting provider, the game itself, attacks, civil unrest, or acts of governmental authority.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may amend these Terms to reflect changes in law, the Service, or our operations. Material changes will be communicated in the support Discord and on this page at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Austria, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).

For consumers resident in the EU, mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.

For non-consumers (businesses), the exclusive place of jurisdiction is the competent court for Kapfenberg, Austria.

14. Severability and entire agreement

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. These Terms together with the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and supersede any prior understandings.
